Mommy returned to work today, leaving Daddy as Mr. Mom for the time being. We’ll keep you posted as to how things go. As of 9:15 this morning, so far, so good. Grandma was also here to help during this transition. .

Gia was baptized today in Pittsburgh at St. Pius X church in Brookline, the parish Mommy and Daddy still belong to. Uncle Nick and Aunt Sue were Gia’s godparents. It was a beautiful ceremony. Check out the photos! Gia was calm throughout the ceremony — didn’t cry until the very end. Good timing! A luncheon followed at Moonlite Cafe on Brookline Boulevard…

Another milestone for Gia. Amanda’s former colleague, Linda Dickerson, held a little party for Gia which happened to coincide on her two month birthdate. Much fun and merriment was had. Gia was just a little hesitant about posing for this photo, otherwise she was the life of the party! .

We headed back home to Pittsburgh today for a couple weeks. Looking forward to spending time with family and friends in both Pittsburgh and Johnstown. Our 335-mile trek between South Bend and Pittsburgh took about 7 hours. That included 3 stops for Gia and one for mom and dad! Gia was a trooper and only cried when she was hungry.…
