Headed back to South Bend, but had a blast visiting family and friends in Pittsburgh and Johnstown. We’ll do this all over again in 3 weeks!.
Headed Back to South Bend
Look Who’s Four Months Old!
They grow up so fast. She’s already blowing out her own candles..
Trick or Treat!
We dressed Gia in a pumpkin outfit for her first Halloween. We didn’t take her out for trick or treating of course, however, our apartment complex had a small party for all the kids in the building. Great fun was had by all!.
Off to Work
Gia’s Baptism
Gia was baptized today in Pittsburgh at St. Pius X church in Brookline, the parish Mommy and Daddy still belong to. Uncle Nick and Aunt Sue were Gia’s godparents. It was a beautiful ceremony. Check out the photos! Gia was calm throughout the ceremony — didn’t cry until the very end. Good timing! A luncheon followed at Moonlite Cafe on Brookline Boulevard —the go-to place for our family!
Here We Go Steelers!
Gia gearing up for her first ever regular season Steelers’ game. Unfortunately, the Steelers lost to Tennessee (the #$%& Titans!!!!) which means she cannot wear this outfit again.
Turning Two (Months)
Another milestone for Gia. Amanda’s former colleague, Linda Dickerson, held a little party for Gia which happened to coincide on her two month birthdate. Much fun and merriment was had. Gia was just a little hesitant about posing for this photo, otherwise she was the life of the party!
First Pirates’ Game
Amanda and I took advantage of our trip back home to see the 1st place Buccos play (yes, first place). We wanted Gia to meet my former co-workers as well. She was in disbelief when we told her I had worked there for 23 years:
She was a trooper… she made it through 7 full innings. We left right after the 7th inning stretch since it was way past her bed time as you can tell:
Although the Buccos ended up losing to the Brewers, we still had a blast. We hope to make it back for more games next summer!
